A focused repair — or a bigger conversation
Pipe problems can happen in walls, ceilings, floors, cabinets, crawl spaces, exterior lines, slab areas, and underground water lines. Some leaks are easy to see; others stay hidden until damage appears. We help homes and businesses across Palm Coast with leaking pipes, burst pipes, corrosion, low pressure, and repiping. If a pipe is leaking, damaged, or causing pressure problems, call (386) 353-9386.
Pipe problems we fix
Some leaks are easy to see; others stay hidden until damage appears.
Pipe leaks
A drip under a sink, a wet ceiling spot, damp drywall, or moisture near baseboards — from loose fittings, small damaged sections, or aging, corroded pipe.
See Leak Detection →Burst pipes
Water spreads fast and damages flooring, drywall, cabinets, and furniture. Shut off the main valve if it’s safe, then call right away.
See Emergency Plumber →Corroded pipes
Corrosion weakens pipe over time — leaks, pinhole openings, rough inner surfaces, and restricted flow. Discolored water and stains near connections are warning signs.
Low water pressure
Buildup inside pipes, corrosion, a pressure regulator problem, hidden leaks, or damaged water lines. A sudden drop often points to a leak.
Discolored water
Brown, yellow, or rusty water may point to pipe corrosion, water heater issues, or supply changes. Hot-only points to the heater; hot and cold points to pipes.
See Water Heater Repair →Frequent leaks
One isolated leak may need one repair. But leaks in different areas suggest the system is aging or failing in more than one place — when repiping is worth discussing.
Water line damage
A damaged line can leak underground, under a slab, or near the main supply. Wet soil, low pressure, high bills, and damp flooring are warning signs.
See Slab Leak Repair →Pinhole leaks
Small leaks that appear in certain aging pipe materials. They start tiny but still cause damage over time — better to check small wet spots or repeated tiny leaks early.
Signs you may need pipe repair
Pipes often warn you before a larger failure.
Water stains or damp spots
Stains on ceilings, walls, cabinets, or flooring may point to a nearby pipe leak. The wet area may not be directly under the pipe — water travels before it appears.
Higher water bills
A hidden pipe leak can waste water day and night. If your bill rises without a clear reason, a leak may be running somewhere you can’t see.
Low water pressure
Weak flow at several fixtures may point to buildup, corrosion, a pressure issue, or a hidden leak. If the drop is sudden, call sooner.
Discolored water
Rusty, brown, or yellow water can point to corrosion or sediment — from pipes, water heater components, or another part of the system.
Repeated leaks
If one leak follows another, the issue may not be random. Repeated leaks can mean the piping system is wearing out.
Noisy pipes
Banging, rattling, or knocking may point to pressure changes, loose supports, worn valves, or water hammer. Sudden or frequent noise should be checked.
Pipe repair vs repiping
The right choice depends on pipe condition, leak location, age, material, and whether the problem is isolated or recurring.
When pipe repair makes sense
The issue is limited to one damaged area and the rest of the system is in reasonable condition.
When repiping may make sense
Patching one spot after another is no longer practical. Repiping is a bigger project, so it shouldn’t be recommended casually.
Repiping materials may include PEX, copper, or CPVC, depending on the property, local code, budget, and system needs. The goal isn’t to push repiping when a repair will do — we explain what we find and what each option means for the property.
Repiping for homes & businesses
A larger project that may replace part or all of the water piping — based on the condition of the system, not pressure.
Whole-home repiping
Considered when the system has repeated leaks, major corrosion, low pressure from buildup, or outdated materials. Not always needed — based on condition, not fear.
Partial repiping
Some properties only need a section replaced — one branch line, a bathroom group, a kitchen area, or a damaged section with problems.
Commercial repiping
Businesses may need replacement when leaks, corrosion, or low pressure affect operations. We help you decide whether repair or repiping is the better step.
Pipe issues in Palm Coast homes
Local conditions affect pipes over time — worth understanding, even if not every home has problems.
Hard water symptoms
Mineral buildup and scale can affect fixtures, water heaters, and some components, and contribute to reduced flow. A softener may help reduce scale concerns.
Humidity & coastal air
Warm, humid air is hard on exposed metal parts, fittings, valves, and connections. Near the coast, salt air makes corrosion more noticeable on exterior plumbing.
Slab foundations
Water lines running under slabs make hidden leaks harder to spot. Warm floor spots, damp flooring, pressure changes, or high use may call for leak detection and slab leak repair.
Aging plumbing materials
Older pipe materials, valves, and fittings bring more leaks, corrosion, and pressure problems as they age. Frequent repairs are when repiping is worth discussing.
Water pressure stress
High or uneven pressure stresses pipes, fixtures, valves, and supply lines. Banging pipes, repeated leaks, or fixture problems may point to pressure as part of the issue.
